It started with a curious idea.

My name is Christian Loets, founder of Crown Shave Treatment, and I live most of my life in Gothenburg, Sweden. And more than 25 years ago, I decided I wanted a shaved head. Simple. Clean. Comfortable. Done.

But over time, I began to notice something else. While the shaved look felt easy and effortless, my skin was telling a different story.

Day after day, a shaved crown is exposed to the elements, friction and the ritual of regular shaving. Over the years, I began to notice how my skin could feel dry, tight or irritated after shaving. It was something I had simply learned to live with – until I started thinking there might be a better way.

So I became curious. I started exploring natural ingredients, experimenting with different oils and learning more about what freshly shaved skin needs to feel nourished, balanced and cared for.

That search led me to nature, as plants are medicin – to ingredients such as hemp, jojoba, rosehip, lavender, chamomile and tea tree. Carefully selected and thoughtfully combined, they became the foundation of something I had been looking for myself: simple, natural care made specifically for shaved heads. And of course without any chemicals.

What began as a personal search slowly evolved into something bigger.

Crown Shave Treatment was created from a simple belief: a shaved head deserves the same care and attention as the rest of the body. Not just something to use when the skin feels irritated, but a daily ritual that helps you care for, nourish and reconnect with your skin after every shave.
